Siebel eBusiness Essentials 2000

Objetivos do Curso
The course explains how to install the Siebel server and client software and how to perform all of the tasks essential for an initial deployment. Using the standard Siebel Call Center application, students learn the basics of Siebel application navigation, querying, and data manipulation. Data visibility, data exchange mechanisms, and work process automation capabilities are introduced. Course participants use Siebel Tools during hands-on exercises to create a custom Siebel application to meet a defined set of business requirements. An initial data load for the customized application is performed. Different deployment options are described and used. Students are also introduced to the architectural concepts on which Siebel applications are founded.

Students enrolled in this class also receive two CD-ROM-based courses: Navigating Siebel eBusiness Applications and Siebel Call Center Fundamentals, Siebel eBusiness 2000. These self-paced courses provide an overview of Siebel eBusiness Applications navigation and Siebel Call Center core functionality and complement the technical training. Understanding the basic functionality and navigation of Siebel eBusiness Applications is an essential element of the systems design process and enables one to configure the Siebel eBusiness Products so they incorporate the customers’ unique business processes.

This is not an end-user class. This course is intended for members of the technical implementation team and includes hands-on labs, with an additional five hours of self-paced CD-ROM-based training.

The Siebel eBusiness 2000 Essentials Course is not a valid path toward Siebel certification.
