What you will learn
Students will be taken through a logical progression of the client interfaces and functionality, beginning with security and its impact on search and retrieval capabilities. As the class progress, students will be involved in a series of hands-on labs designed to expose the functionality of Image Mgt (Context) through the Windows Client.
Student will examine the use of all client tools and understand their relationships. Students will learn how to create and maintain Filer applications to understand the overall system architecture. Upon completion, students will have an understanding of the Security architecture, will have created both simple and complex Searches, performed retrievals, established preferences, annotated objects, print or send objects to an outside application. Students will build Filer applications and apply their knowledge of previous exercises to their work.
